Frequently asked questions and helpful tips for your appointment

This appointment will be at my home, the address will be provided to you after booking.

It is a half brick and half tan house that is set back off the road, with plenty of parking in the driveway.

When you arrive, please use the downstairs door by the garage and dont let the cats out no matter what they tell you!

Given the close personal interaction inherent in Reiki services, if you are currently sick with any kind of communicable disease or illness please reschedule to a time when you are feeling better as I will be reserving the right to refuse services for anyone who is visibly sick or has cold symptoms.

Also, you are welcome to wear a mask during your appointment, and I will have masks available if you wish to wear one.

I am happy to wear a mask as well if you are immunocompromised or if it makes you more comfortable.

It’s not mandatory but if you know your birth chart information (exact date, time and location of birth) feel free to send it to me ahead of time.  Astrology and numerology are two of my hobbies and sometimes I like to weave it into your appointment if it makes sense to do so.  However, I need the exact birth time for the most accuracy.

Also, if you have anything specific that you would like to address or work on in your appointment please feel free to communicate it to me!  It also never hurts to set intentions for what you hope to achieve in your appointment.

I would recommend eating, drinking and using the restroom before your appointment, a growling stomach or a full bladder can be very distracting when you are trying to relax.

If possible I would avoid consuming alcohol and drugs before or after your appointment.

I have a restroom available here, however you will need to be able to navigate stairs to use it.

Definitely bring your journal!  You never know what insights you might have and I find its best to write them down asap!

It never hurts to bring a water as well.

Also I’m a huge advocate of fuzzy socks 🙂  Or anything that will make you more comfortable!

If you are coming for an Akashic Records appointment please write down your full name on a sheet of paper however you identify in this life.  For instance, do you use your married name or have you gone back to your maiden name after divorce, etc?  Do you use a middle name or a nickname?  Also write down any questions you might have for the Akashic Records.  I can never guarantee what will come through, but it will always be what is best for your highest good and healing at this time and the questions are always nice to toggle back to.

Anytime is a good time for healing!  Especially if you are feeling run down and depleted, Reiki can recalibrate and supercharge your energy.

However, If you have fresh new intentions you want to set or anything you want to manifest into existence try to plan your appointment as close to the new moon as possible.

If you have anything that you want to release or let go of try to plan your appointment as close to the full moon as possible.

As far as Reiki services, you will remain fully clothed and relax into a comfortable position on a bed (massage table) you only need to remove your shoes but you can leave your socks on (the fuzzier the better!)  You will be lightly touched during your session, however, it can be done without touching if you prefer.  Please let me know if you do not want to be touched, or if you have specific areas that you do not want touched.

I may use essential oils, crystals, or sacred smoke (sage, palo santo, sweetgrass or yerba santa) during your appointment, please let me know if you do not want this.

I will also use some kind of sacred sound such as Solfeggio frequencies, binaural beats, hemi-sync, subliminal affirmations, positive affirmations, sound bowls, tuning forks etc.  

Usually I play music that vibrates at a certain hertz that will help drop you into either a theta or delta brainwave state.  Theta is where you can reprogram your subconcious and delta is where you can bend reality.

A Reiki Master is someone who has been awakened to the universal energy that is constantly within us and around us.  This is done by an attunement, which is a ritual that is woven into the 3 different levels or system of Reiki with the use of symbols and mantras.  Each of the 3 different levels have their own sacred symbol and mantra.  The attunement is done by a Reiki Master Teacher (RMT).  Once you have been attuned to Reiki you will always be able to access it.

Drink plenty of water!

Try to plan your appointment at a time when you can have some quiet contemplative time to yourself afterwards. Reiki can bring a lot of thoughts, feelings, memories, emotions and sometimes trauma to the surface, so try to grant yourself some time and space to work through whatever comes up.

I highly recommend journaling on what came up during your session, if you keep up with consistent Reiki appointments it is always interesting to look back on your progress.

Reiki always makes me very relaxed so if youre able to take a nap and feel called to rest, definitely do so!  Its all about taking time for yourself to listen to your body and nourishing yourself in whatever way feels right.

Once services are rendered all deposits, payments and sales are final, no refunds.

All prices listed are not open to negotiation, discounts, trade, barter, haggling, etc.  At this point in my career it would be a disservice to myself, my skills, my experience, my time and my family who depend on me financially, to accept any unpaid work.  I’m also not able to offer discounts because I dont discount the service or the quality of the work.  I find that there is a completely different mindset when there is an exchange of money for a service versus when its given out for free.  Spiritual services are able to reach a different level when they are honored, appreciated, formalized and compensated.  Its important for spiritual services to be compensated to honor both of our time and its value.  Therefore, at this time im only able to fill my schedule with clients who see the value in my services.  If you dont, thats ok!  I promise that there is someone out there that can meet your needs and your budget.  ♥

Yes, the total mileage round trip will be billed at the 2026 IRS standardized rate of 72.5 cents per mile.  The travel fee will be in addition to the fee for your service you will be receiving.
